| When his mother dies, Guelfo, a noble Fiorentine, discovers that he has a brother, Felice, who is to share his inheritance, and who moves into the family villa. The two brothers hate each other, and their hate only increases over the conquest of the beautiful Sonia, a fake Baroness, who is an expert impersonator. But the mythical inheritance does not exist, and the two brothers are penniless. The butler Vannino, taking pity on them, reveals the existence of a diamond necklace, but the jewels end up in the hands of two of Felices creditors. With Sonias help, Guelfo and Felice manage to regain possession of the necklace. And now they live happily in the villa, forming a perfect ménage à trois. Sonia has even provided them with two children, one speaking the Bari dialect and the other Tuscan, who come to blows all day... little brothers & enemies. |
